Capsules are taken with water at the same dosage – from 50 to 400 mg per day. In drops, take 20 drops (the same 50 mg), up to 8 times a day.

If necessary, tramadol is administered rectally (after emptying the intestines by introducing a suppository over the sphincter). It is permissible to enter up to 4 times a day.

Intravenous administration provides the fastest effect – 5-10 minutes, oral administration will give an analgesic effect not earlier than in half an hour. The action lasts from three to five hours.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage, as a single dose of a large dose of tramadol can cause drug dependence.


It is possible to increase side effects (hallucinations, lethargy, tachycardia), and severe intoxication, which manifests itself in severe vomiting, collapse, coma, seizures, and depression of the respiratory center may occur. In case of an overdose, one should rinse the stomach and pyrrhic enterosorbents.

Side effects
